In UO Sagas, the gold your character stores in the bank functions like real-life digital funds. When you deposit a pile of gold into your bank, the physical coin stack is removed from your inventory and its value is added directly to your total gold balance. This balance represents all the gold you’ve securely stored, even though you no longer carry the coins themselves.

• Your bank balance will be briefly displayed in the lower left corner of your screen whenever you access your bank.
• You can also say “balance” within 12 tiles of a banker npc to view your balance.
• Your bank balance will also be displayed in a trade window, whenever you open up a trade action with any other player.

Banks are denoted by signs displaying the above noted symbol.

Banks are found in all the current towns (Coldstone, Moonvale, Volaria, Westwend) and also the orcish town of Grud Vurdal.

Banks may have different types of npc's within them, which you can interact with. These include Bankers and Minters. Currently, there is no difference between the two – they offer the same services. In Grud Vurgdal, the banker npc is called a “shinies keeper”.

Items and Gold can be stored in a bank, and are not unique to the bank they are stored in – they can be accessed from any bank in the world.

Items: The items stored in your bank are character-based and are only accessible by that character.

Gold: Your gold coins stored in your bank are account-based – all your characters have access to the gold stored on your account.

You can access your bank by saying/typing the words “bank” when you are within 12 tiles of a “Banker” npc. Alternatively you can left click the npc to see their context menu and select “Open Bankbox” from the context menu.

You can store up to 125 items (unlimited weight) in your bank, and an unlimited amount of gold. You can increase the amount of items you can store by buying the “Bank Slots” upgrade at the Vault of Eren Vendor.

Deposit: After accessing the bank, drag any coins you have in your backpack and drop them into the gump showing your bank container.

Withdrawal: To withdraw coins, just type “withdraw x” where “x” is a number of coins between 1 to 5000. (Note: all vendor purchases are made with coins withdrawn from your bank as are any trades you make between players. The only npc that requires payment in gold coins from your backpack is any npc that you are trying to learn/acquire skill points from – be sure to only give them them the exact amount they are asking for as they do not make change.)
