Overview
Anatomy is a support skill that enhances your understanding of body structures and physiology. It provides damage bonuses in melee combat and is essential for effective healing with bandages. This skill represents your knowledge of vital points, muscle groups, and anatomical weaknesses.
- Primary use: Melee damage bonus and healing effectiveness
- Secondary benefits: Evaluating opponent's physical condition
- Related skills: Healing (bandage effectiveness), Wrestling/Weapon skills (damage bonus)
How to Use
Active Use (Evaluation):
- Activate the skill through your skill menu or macro
- Target a creature - you'll see “Whom shall I examine?”
- Read the results showing target's strength, dexterity, and stamina
- Skill delay: 1 second between uses
Passive Use (Combat & Healing):
- Automatically checked during melee combat for damage bonus
- Automatically checked when using bandages for healing calculations
- No manual activation needed for these benefits
Evaluation Messages:
- Shows approximate strength and dexterity levels
- At 65.0+ skill: Also shows stamina percentage
- Higher skill = more accurate readings (less margin of error)
Training Methods
Starting Out (0-30)
- Active Method: Use skill on any creatures or players repeatedly
- Passive Method: Heal with bandages on damaged targets
- Best Targets: Any living creature works for active gains
- Training Tip: Create a macro to use Anatomy skill repeatedly
Intermediate Training (30-60)
- Continue active use on any targets
- Heal players/pets with bandages for passive gains
- Sparring sessions: Combine with combat training
- No specific targets needed - all give same gain chance
Advanced Training (60-90)
- Active training remains effective to 100.0
- Bandage healing on heavily damaged targets
- Combat training: Fight while checking anatomy passively
- Gain rate slows but method remains the same
Expert Training (90-100)
- Persistence required - gains become rare
- Combine methods: Active use + bandage healing
- Consider Skill Balls if available for final points
- No special techniques - just repetition
Mastery Training (100-120)
- NOT POSSIBLE - Anatomy cap cannot exceed 100.0

- Maximum skill level is 100.0

Evaluation Formula:
- Margin of Error = MAX(0, 25 - (Anatomy / 4))
- At 100 skill: ±0 margin of error
- At 0 skill: ±25 margin of error
- Shows STR/DEX in categories of 10 points
Combat Damage Bonus:
- Base bonus: Anatomy * 10% / 100
- At GM (100.0): +10% damage bonus
- Additional 1% bonus at exactly 100.0 skill
- Total at GM: 11% melee damage increase
- Stacks with Tactics damage bonus
Healing Calculations:
With Bandages (Pre-AOS)
- Min heal: Anatomy/5 + Healing/5 + 3
- Max heal: Anatomy/5 + Healing/2 + 10
- Example at GM both: 23 to 60 HP healed
Cure Poison
- Requires 60+ Anatomy AND 60+ Healing
- Success chance based on poison level
- Essential for curing without magery
Resurrection
- Requires 80+ Anatomy AND 80+ Healing
- Allows resurrection with bandages
- Chance affected by skill levels
