Skill Masteries
General
The Skill Mastery System empowers you to enhance your skills through special abilities known as perks.
Each mastery also introduces a proc mechanism, for critical hits and additional effects.
Each perk and proc can be further improved by spending talent points which you will earn by defeating the mobs.
While you have the flexibility to learn all skill masteries (see list below) on a character, only two can be selected to actively utilized at any given time.
Important: All benefits from the Skill Mastery System only work in the PvM context and will not work while a player is PvP-flagged.
Character Enhancements
Upon acquiring your first skill mastery, the Character Enhancements is automatically activated.
Similar to skill masteries, you accumulate experience points by defeating mobs, allowing you to level up the character enhancements.
As you progress, you will be rewarded with points that can be allocated towards the following character enhancements:
- Armor Bonus
- Magic Resist Bonus
- Spell Damage Bonus
- Melee Damage Bonus
For the calculation formulas of those bonuses click here.
Skill Masteries
Every skill mastery offers three perks and one proc that can be upgraded.
Among these, two are known as “Base Perks,” while the remaining perk and proc form the “Template Bonus”.
Remember, you can only select one template bonus from your two selected skill masteries at a time. To activate template bonus you should open mastery menu, choose desired mastery, click “activate” and apply your choice.
Learning a Skill Mastery
To learn a skill mastery, you need to have 90 skill.
Go to the corresponding NPC and learn the skill mastery via the context menu, just like training a skill from an NPC.
