===== 1. Register an Account =====

To begin your journey in **UOSagas**, you’ll first need to create an account. Follow these steps:

  * Visit [[http://my.uosagas.com/]] and register for an account.
  * During registration, you’ll be prompted to **link your Discord account**.  
    <WRAP important>Linking your Discord account is **mandatory**. Without it, you won’t be able to play using the client.</WRAP>
  * Once registered, use the **email address** you signed up with as your username, and the **password** you created, to log into the game.

Your login credentials for the website are the same as for the game client — keep them safe and secure.

===== 2. Download and Run the Launcher =====

To start playing **UOSagas**, you’ll need to download and install the game launcher.

**→ Download the Launcher:**

**→ Install the Launcher:**  
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Once installed, the launcher will appear as an app on your system, listed as **"Ultima Online - Sagas"**.  
If you unselect the checkboxes for creating desktop/menu shortcuts, you must create them manually and assign **administrator privileges** — or the launcher won’t patch correctly and will throw an error.

===== 3. Use the Launcher =====

  * The launcher will handle downloading and installing the game files.
  * It will also keep your client up to date with the latest patches and improvements.

⚠️ If you were using the legacy version of the launcher, do not forget to migrate your profiles and data.

Once installed, open the launcher, log in with your credentials (**email/password from [my.uosagas.com](http://my.uosagas.com)**), and let the adventure begin!
