All new characters begin with the Young Player Status. \\

===== Benefits =====
As a Young Player, you gain the following benefits:
  * Ability to trade with NPC Vendors in Adena
  * Young players are allowed to mine and lumberjack on Adena Island
  * Young players can pick cotton on Adena Island
  * Free use of [[mechanics:publicmoongates|Ghost Gates]]
  * No loss of items upon death

===== Duration =====
Your Young Player Status will remain active until one of the following conditions is met:
  * 40 hours of playtime
  * Reaching a total skill value of 450
  * Acquiring a kill count
  * Renouncing the Young Player Status

===== Renouncing the Young Player Status =====
You can renounce your Young Player Status by
  * Using the context menu: Left click on your character
  * Say ingame with your character: "i renounce my young player status"
