====== Spawning Rares ======

Spawning Rares are special collectable items that appear at fixed locations throughout the world. Unlike regular loot drops, these items spawn on timers and can only exist one at a time per location. Finding a rare is a rewarding experience that combines exploration with timing and a bit of luck.

===== How It Works =====

  * Rare items spawn at specific hidden locations across the world
  * Only one rare can exist at each location at a time
  * When a player picks up a rare, a new respawn timer begins
  * Each rare has a randomized spawn time based on its rarity tier
  * Rares do not decay while sitting at their spawn location

===== Rarity Tiers =====

Spawning rares come in five tiers, each with different spawn intervals:

| **Quarter-Daily** | ~6 hours | Common rares that respawn frequently |
| **Daily** | ~24 hours | Moderately rare items |
| **Weekly** | ~7 days | Uncommon finds |
| **Monthly** | ~30 days | Very rare collectibles |
| **Server Birth** | Staff triggered | Unique items that always be a 1/1 on the server |

All spawn times have now a **20% random variance** to prevent predictable hunting.

===== Identifying Rares =====

When you first encounter a spawning rare in the world, it looks like a normal item. However, once you pick it up, the item gains special properties:

  * **Rarity Label**: A colored label indicating the rarity tier
  * **Non-Decaying**: The item will not decay in your backpack or house

==== Server Birth Rares ====

Server Birth rares are extra special:

  * They spawn **only once** in the server's lifetime
  * When found, a **global announcement** is broadcast to all players
  * The item permanently displays the **finder's name** and **date found**
  * These are the rarest and most prestigious collectibles

===== Hunting Tips =====

  * **Explore thoroughly** - Rares spawn in fixed locations, often in out-of-the-way places
  * **Check regularly** - Different tiers respawn at different intervals
  * **Be patient** - Monthly rares may take time to appear
  * **Look everywhere** - Rares can spawn indoors, outdoors, in dungeons, and in remote areas

===== Other Rare Sources =====

In addition to spawning rares, there are other ways to obtain rare items:

These non-spawning rares also display a rarity label and are highly collectible.

Building a rare collection is a popular pastime for many players. Rares make excellent:

  * House decorations
  * Display pieces
  * Trade items
  * Status symbols (especially Server Birth rares)
